Wellgreen Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the most reliable manufacturers and suppliers of glucoraphanin powder in China. With abundant experience, our factory provide high quality natural food supplements for human nutritional products, health care products and cosmetic products. Welcome to place an order.
Broccoli extract standardised on glucoraphanin is produced from the stem and seed of Brassica oleracea. Glucoraphanin is a glucosinolate and the direct precursor of sulforaphane: the two are separated in the plant, and they come together only when the tissue is disrupted and the enzyme myrosinase is released. Glucoraphanin-standardised grades are therefore specified and assayed independently of sulforaphane-standardised grades.

Composition and standardisation
Glucoraphanin is one of the most abundant glucosinolates in broccoli, and the seed carries a higher concentration than the mature floret. The extract is standardised on glucoraphanin content, measured by HPLC, and the residual fraction is made up of other glucosinolates, sugars, protein and fibre from the source material. Because glucoraphanin is water-soluble and heat-sensitive at elevated temperatures, the extraction and drying steps are carried out under controlled conditions, and storage below 25 degrees Celsius away from direct light is recommended.
Why the assay method matters
Sulforaphane and glucoraphanin are frequently quoted interchangeably in marketing material, but they are different molecules with different molecular weights, and a supplier quoting one when the specification lists the other makes a material difference to the delivered dose. When comparing quotations, confirm which of the two the assay refers to, whether the result is on an as-is or dry basis, and the method used.
Applications
Glucoraphanin-standardised broccoli extract is used in dietary supplement capsules and tablets, in powdered beverage and stick-pack formats, and in functional food applications where a standardised cruciferous ingredient is required. It is supplied as a food-grade raw material for further manufacturing.

Quality Documentation
Manufacturing is carried out under ISO9001, ISO22000, FSSC22000, HACCP, cGMP and FAMI-QS management systems, and the product range is certified for HALAL, KOSHER, NOP and EOS (organic) where applicable. Each batch is released against a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, and MSDS and specification sheets are available on request to support your internal regulatory review. Certificates are available on request.
