PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pomegranate fruit extract powder is produced from the dried fruit of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) by extraction, drying and milling. The fruit carries a distinctive polyphenol fraction - punicalagins, punicalin and ellagic acid derivatives - together with the anthocyanins that give the material its colour, organic acids, sugars and dietary fibre. The powder is used as both a fruit ingredient and a natural colour source.
