Source: It is the ripe dry peel of the Rutaceae plant, Changdi small tree, Dahong tangerine (also known as Chazhi tangerine or Xinhui tangerine), all cultivated.
Place of Origin: It is mainly produced in Xinhui, Jiangmen, Sihui and the suburbs of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province.
Character identification: mostly three-lobed scoop-shaped, connected together at the stalk, oval-shaped lobes, slightly pointed at both ends. It is about 6 to 9 cm long, 5 to 8 cm wide in the middle, and 1 to 1.5 cm thick. The outer surface is yellow-orange, red-orange or purple-orange, slightly rough, with dense large and deep concave oil chambers, commonly known as "big brown eyes", which are transparent to light. The inner surface is white and spongy, and most of them are rolled outwards, which also shows the oil chamber. Soft and soft. The aroma is strong and the taste is slightly sweet and pungent but not bitter.
The skin is thick, soft, large, the epidermis is purple-red, the inner skin is white, the brown eyes are large and transparent, and the smell is sweet and rich. It is customary to think that it is a treasure in tangerine peel.
3. Auranti cortex siccatus
Source: It is the ripe dry peel of various citrus citrus such as the evergreen small trees of Rutaceae, such as Fu citrus, Zhu citrus, and Mi citrus. All are cultivated.
Place of Origin: Mainly produced in Sichuan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang and other provinces.
Character identification: Orange products such as Fu orange and Zhu orange are irregular slivers, with a slightly thinner cortex and a thickness of about 1 mm. The outer surface is brighter orange-red, with dense smaller oil chambers, which are opaque to the photo booth. The inner surface is yellowish-white, often with linear and easily peeled vascular bundles (orange) and film residues. Crunchy and brittle. Gas slightly fragrant, taste hard.
Citrus products are irregular lobes, the pieces are larger, and the cortex is slightly thicker about 1 to 2 mm. The outer surface is yellow-brown or tan, purple-brown, rough, with dense fine wrinkles and oil chambers, opaque to light. The inner surface is white and spongy, and the texture is slightly soft. The gas is also sweet but not as good as the dried tangerine peel, and the taste is slightly hard.
3. Orange peel.

Origin: Mainly produced in Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Taiwan and other provinces.
Character identification: mostly four-lobed or irregular pieces, with a skin thickness of about 1 mm. The outer epidermis is orange-yellow or light yellow-brown, the skin is thin, and there are dense small pits interlaced with convex and concave, and the oil chamber is not obvious. The inner surface is white, smooth and tightly knotted, often with reticulated vascular bundles that are not easily peeled off. Quality is hard and brittle. The gas is slightly fragrant, the taste is slightly sour and bitter and slightly acrid.
In addition to Guangpi above, the products that are intensively processed with mandarin oranges include Jian Chenpi, Chaopi and Zhangtouhong, which are of better quality.
The concentrated processing of Zhu orange and Fu orange, and the product dried in fire pit is called "keng tangerine peel". The film is complete and the color is bright inside and outside. It is a better variety.
In the past, orange peel was often not used, and recently, the old product could not meet the needs. The family, property and taste of orange peel are the same as those of orange peel, and it is also equally medicinal, but not as good as orange peel.
Mixed tangerine, tangerine, and orange peels collected scattered in various places, and the sun-dried products are of different varieties, called dried tangerine peel, soil tangerine peel or mixed peel, and the quality is inferior.
Main components: containing hesperidin, meso-inositol, volatile oil (the main component is d-limonene) and vitamin B1.
