Wellgreen Technology Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer and supplier of pineapple fruit powder for the food and beverage industry. The material is produced at our own facility from fresh pineapple fruit and supplied to formulators of nutritional, food and personal care products.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pineapple fruit powder is produced from fresh pineapple fruit (Ananas comosus (Linn.) Merr.) by juicing, drying and milling. The pulp carries sugars - sucrose, glucose and fructose - together with protein, fat, crude fibre, organic acids and a mineral fraction that includes calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. Vitamin C is the dominant vitamin. The fruit is also the commercial source of the proteolytic enzyme bromelain, a mixture of cysteine proteases that is a distinct product category in its own right.
